The Ritual

Slow down.
One bowl at a time.

Matcha is more than a drink. It's a pause in the middle of a hurried day — a slow pour, a circular whisk, a warm bowl held in both hands.

For centuries, tea masters in Japan have practiced this ritual to quiet the mind and sharpen the senses. We bring that same calm to your table in Beirut.

The Method

Make your bowl in four steps.

Watch it once — each step lights up as it happens.

Sift the matcha into a warm bowl to break up any clumps.

02

Add ~60ml of water at 80°C — just off the boil, never boiling.

03

Whisk

Whisk briskly in “M” and “W” strokes to a smooth, even foam.

04

Serve

Pour over milk or ice, give it a stir, and enjoy your bowl.

Frequently Asked

Want to know more?

How do I prepare matcha?

Sift 1 tsp of matcha into a bowl, add 60ml of water at ~80°C (not boiling — it makes matcha bitter), and whisk in "M" or "W" shapes with a bamboo chasen until frothy. No chasen? A milk frother or a shaker bottle works beautifully.

Which one is right for me?

Our First-Harvest Matcha is made for pure drinking — smooth, with natural sweetness, perfect for quiet mornings. If you're new to matcha or want to try the full ritual, the Ritual Set gives you everything you need: a handcrafted bowl, a bamboo whisk with its ceramic holder, and a bamboo scoop.

How do I store my matcha?

Matcha is sensitive to light, heat, and air. Keep the tin tightly sealed in a cool, dark place — or in the fridge for maximum freshness. Bring it to room temperature before opening to prevent condensation.

How is matcha different from green tea?

Regular green tea is steeped — you drink the infusion and throw the leaves away. Matcha is the whole leaf, stone-ground into powder, so you drink everything. That means more antioxidants, more L-theanine, and a much deeper flavor.
